Sounds like you're having fun so far.

Watch your speed in the morning approaching Van Horn. Tickets are the main source of income for law enforcement. Then the next speed trap comes quickly when the limit drops from 80 to 70 with little warning.
Just a heads up, so it doesn't ruin your day.

Love those wind farms, and that area never runs out of wind. Deputy sheriffs like to ticket so be careful. Looks like you're enjoying the trip.

Chino Planes of Fame, Chino, CA.
Oregon Air and Space Museum, Eugene, Oregon.
Tillamook Air Museum located in WWII Blimp Hangar. No WWII planes anymore as they have moved them all to the Erickson Air Museum in Madras, Oregon.
Evergreen Air and Space Museum.
Pearson Air Museum, vancouver, Washington, not much there besides being the longest continuously operated airport in North America.
Olympic Flight Museum, Olympia, Washington.
Seattle Museum of Flight, Seattle, Washington.
Flying Heritage Collection, Everett, WA
Historic Flight Foundation, Everett, WA.
Historic Flight Skagit Regional, Bulington, WA.

Only car museum I have been to in the PNW is the Lamay America's Car Museum. There is also a private collection of the Lamay family cars still at the residence that is open to the public with a reservation.

Look up the 7 Wonders of Oregon for some viewing pleasure.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will be going that way. Today I traveled from Texas to New Mexico and this was my first stop

First of all, congratulations on retirement; and congratulations on the extended Corvette trip. It is a fun way to travel. It looks like your route was taking you up I-10 along the Rio Grande and through El Paso. Is there any danger driving through that area, being so close to Mexico, and with all the border crossing problems we hear about? You obviously made it okay. Just wondering.

Again, congratulations, and enjoy the rest of your trip.
