Default Splash Screen Flash Drive

Does anyone have a flash drive with C6 logos loaded that will work on a kenwood?

The Kenwood forums have some detailed info on how to do that. You have to resize them to a certain resolution. I don't remember all of the steps, but it's not too terribly complicated.

Thank you for your reply. I don't have Photoshop which I think you have to have to edit the image I believe?

Are you on a Mac, or a [P]retend [C]omputer?
If upon a Mac, you can resize images using the Preview app (included with OS X for free).

On windoze there are lots of free utilities that will allow you to rescale an image. No need to spring for PhotoShop.

No photoshop needed. Just open windows paint and you can edit the size as well as the format of the picture. It comes pre - installed on all windows systems.

Create your image - Pixel Size should be 800 * 480 / Save as 16 bit Full Color BMP and the setting of RGB of R5,G6,B5 <-- important

^^^^ This is what I am finding for the Kenwood Splash screen.
