When the C6 came out,or just prior to coming out I should say,I SAW a picture online of one on the back of a flatbed in NYC..it was love at first sight and hasn't diminished yet. When the C7 first appeared for real at the auto show in Detroit...well..all i could say was 'what the hell did they do"? I finally saw one in person not to long ago and although it does look better in person I'm still luke warm to the whole look.Sideview looks ok..sometimes..depending on color...anytime I have to question if I like something or not..I certainly ain't gonna spend 70 grand on that something! Tech notwithstanding..

I would like it better IF the tail lights were a little more like the C6s of yesteryear.......not the Camaro.

C7 is a game changer in the looks department. Many of my friends that are are not even car fans have come up to me with "You have to get one of the new ones". I never saw anything like that w/ the c6.

C5 turned a lot of heads when it came out too, don't forget. The c6 was a very tame launch, not a ton changing early on.

C7 a bit busy but the visible quality in finish is way, way better. That's before you get to the interior where there is no comparison to prior generations.

Well, I disagree, but I was just expressing an opinion. Seems that's frowned upon here at CF.

I've never really been fond of the headlights of the C6, they just look too bland and boring. Reminds of an old Citroen for some reason. The C7's headlights are lightyears ahead ... too bad there wasn't a kit of some sorts to retrofit C6s.

On the other hand I've always loved the rear of the C6, the rear three-quarter view is easily its best. The C7's rear is growing on me, it's just not as distinctive as the C6's (round vs. square lights don't really matter to me)

Overall the C7 definitely makes the C6 look dated. Not ugly or anything, just clearly from a different era. Everything else being equal (price, performance, etc.) based on looks alone I'd take a C7. But that doesn't mean I hate my C6, the C7 is simply more modern. Someday I'll have one.

The C7's taillights don't look like the Camaro's.

It's been a year since I seen and didn't like the C7.
Where I live I see a blue C7 every day and I'm getting used to seeing it.
I like the long shape of the headlights, but not the trinkety l.e.ds.
It STILL doesn't look right ...and I tried to like it.
One year later and I still don't like it, just doesn't look right.

I'd pose this particular interrogatory on anything BUT the C6 forum If you're looking for honest feedback.

For me, i wouldn't change 1 thing on my '09. The LS3 is my favorite engine and not interested at all in the LT1 with the cyl. deactivation, VVT and the D.I. That is a deal killer in itself for me.

Also really like the TR6060 close ratio trans. 6 gears are plenty.

The sleek classic style and performance of the C6 has me hooked for many more years and smiles to come.

The C7 doesn't do it for me in looks or anything else.

Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion.

However, I'm still surprised that some folks see no similarity between the Camaro and the C7.

Picture the Camaro in a Transformer movie, or perhaps on Steroids, and you'll see the C7.

Love it, hate it, that's personal taste, but to say you don't see it???

On an Interstate the other day with my sweet patootie, we were passed by a red vert with the black stripes . About a mile down the road the C7 exited but had to tap the brakes. My best gal volunteered that she did not like the stripes nor the rear lights. Guess my 2005 C6 will be with me for a while longer.

C6 and C7 are both equal for me, I like them both!

C5, never really liked it, too long, too dated.

I have never heard someone saying they don't like the C6 styling tought.
