Got one!!
Great ride and handling as well as FUN. The tires are new mud and snow so are a bit noisey and in DFW I doubt I'll be able to get rid of them so will just have to wear them out. They're run flats so they are ROUGH on bumpy roads. First thing I'll have to do is get some tint on the windows. It's hot behind the seats. OK, first thing and 1/2. First I'll have to take the front license plate holder off. Second thing is sound deadening. That looks like a full weekend job. It came with an Pioneer AVH-4200DVD system with what looks like a 500 watt amp with a woofer in the back. Sounds nice. Oh well, time to get back to work. Been gone for 3 days.

When you say the key didn't work above the license plate, it may be the common issue we all have or will have. The key hole gets dirt and what not in it. Shoot some WD40 or similar in it to clean it out. Then try the key..

As for the tires, yes they're All Season tires ... Michelin pilot sport A/S Plus ZP.
They're actually a great all around tire and one of the better riding tires available.
Also, will be a while before they wear out as they have a fairly long mileage rating if everything is aligned correctly.. etc.
Theses cars do not ride cushy all things considered being it's a Sports car.
You say it's a Base model, but if it seems overly rough to you, check on the glove box door options sheet to see if there's a Z51 on the list.
Z51 is the Performance suspension and will ride a bit rougher than normal.
Also, maybe even more importantly .. Check your tire pressures as over inflated will make them ride hard.
They should be set at 30 psi when cold.
But I have the same tires and in my experience I've been running them at 28 psi cold and they ride nice and have had no adverse tire wear or handling issues.
Good Luck and Enjoy
