Default hypothetical questions on mods

I have a 2012 C6 M6 coupe. Halltech intake with shroud, magnaflow cat back exhaust, with a Diablo tune 93 octane. What horse power Gain would i be looking at and 1/4 times. Please chime in.

Maybe 10 because of the tune, that other stuff won't do much at all..and your 1/4 mile times won't be much different then bone stock.

This. Depending on traction and driver skill, mid 12s at 115-117.

I would think that Vararam intake would be a better choice, catback only makes the sound better and diablo sport canned tune is not even worth putting on your car. Get headers with X-pipe and find a good tuner then you will see realistic gains.

you did two mods basically do nothing but noise... the tune might help a little..

headers are where you make power with these cars.

Open up the front shroud and direct air at the hall tech. You will see the performance gain from the lowered IATs.

This is true. You'll get similar gains from a stereo upgrade. Not knocking what you've done, the stock exhaust is way too quiet, and Ive blown money on a "CAI" with little to show for it. If I was looking for performance gains I'd start with headers and a tune by a reputable tuner.

I would think 20-25 rwhp with the 93 gas and tune.

Headers will almost double it.

Kooks or LG. I have LG and Halltec with shroud opened for outside air.

Would recommend a good dyno tune. LG knows what they are doing.

My OBX have been perfect and cost less than half the others.

China vs made in America is a decision you have to make.

Get the best of all worlds. Borla XR-1 headers. Slightly more expensive than OBX, way less than the "big 3." (LG, ARH, KOOKS). BORLA did a lot of LG's actual manufacturing for a while.
