dry sump

wife just bought 2013 lt3 c6 as far as i know its stock,did any come with dry sumps,we called on oil change and they are asking.will vin number tell you if some came with it.

If it's a GS MANUAL TRANNY CAR it has the dry sump.AUTOMATICS DO NOT.

To sum up what they said:

ONLY Grand Sport coupes with manual transmissions got the dry sump system.

As HisVette said, the Z06 also has a dry sump motor. Another way of putting it, non-dry sump motors are in all base models, Grand Sport convertibles and Grand Sport coupes with automatic transmissions.

or you could just open the hood and look at the firewall on the passanger side next to the the finder. if there is a battery under your hood you do not have it. or look in the trunk, in the passanger side covie whole. if there is a battery in the trunk, you have it.
