Default Michelin Pilot Super Sports vs Nitto Invo

Anyone have any real life experience with both tires? I'm getting the "Cup" wheels for my Grand Sport, and need tires. I currently have Nitto Invo's on the stock wheels and LOVE them, however, they only offer 25 series aspect ratio in the 345/20 tires. I want a 30 series aspect ratio, and the MPSS tires seem to be pretty popular.

I love the ride quality and quietness of the Invo's. Will I be sacrificing a noticeable amount going with the MPSS??? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

MPSS all the way. Invos are probably the worst tires you could put on a performance car.... I've had both in 20s so yes I have real life experience.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have the 345/25 or 345/30's on yours?

Looks like the MPSS only offers 30 series, and Invo only offers 25.... weird.

MPSS, I got 20k miles out of them and that was right to the steel belts. Invos I usually get about 13-16k. I have invos on the rear now and cant get them gone fast enough, but I might go with some NT05Rs when it comes time to replace.

Not on this car, but my previous car, I've had both, and definitely agree.

Who's running the MPSS in 19's up front??? The closest size they make to factory ZR1 is 295/30/19... Anyone running these up front?

I'm with you Bryan, I would like to run the 345/30/20 and 285/35/19 on my GS. Just hoping someone has tried them already.

A buddy with a ZO6 just went from Invos to Pilot Super Sports and raved about the switch, said the PSS's really stuck.

Just get PS2 ZP at 335/25-20 ( stock Zr1 sizes) all around. Just as good as PSS for the street IMO and light years better than the piece of chit Invos. I had both... And the 335 PS2 was visually and physcially wider than the 345 Invo.

Thanks for the feedback guys. What about the Michelin fronts? They only offer 285/35/19 or 295/30/19. What are you guys running for fronts?

I have Invos on mine and have no complaints. Then again, I have a stock ls3. Now after reading how much people like the super sports more than the invo's, I'm curious to see the difference
