You're out and about and you notice that little bird dropping or some other blemish on the ole C6 that others wouldn't even fire a single synapse about....but YOU, YOU pull out the bottle of detailer and wipe it away right then and there!
So, will you admit that you keep the bottle (and rag, clean of course) in the car and take time/effort out of your day to wipe away an insignificant mark upon her sweeping curves.....admit it?
And, and, you might even be that soul who's house could be on one of those hoarding shows and your house windows might be opaque from years of untouched detrious but not the car, nooooooo!
Guilty...I keep cleaner, and towels in all my vehicles. Drives me nuts when crap gets on them. I'm on the last leg of a 5K road trip in my F-150. I've had to stop at Wally World for more cleaner because I ran out in the first 10 days cleaning bugs off the front. The Wifey said there may be a pill out there I could take........

I have seen that look in MY wife's eye when she offers me the "pill" solution.....
Actually....I do. Makes me think of last year at Corvette weekend at Eureka Springs. When it finally stopped raining in the afternoon, one of the guys I was with went out to the parking lot, which was full of vettes, and began wiping off his car. It wasn't 10 minutes later, and there were at least 5-6 guys out in the lot wiping off their cars.
If you think this action is being fanatical, you don't know the birds around here.
Especially in the spring, bird poop can eat through the paint in a matter of minutes.

I keep my detail spray and clean microfiber towels in my car at all times. It just doesn't seem right to drive a dirty Vette. My wife wishes I was as particular about our house...
All but the last part, and not just for the corvette. However, I only carry california dusters and microfiber towels in the other cars. Will be washing and waxing the wife's merc in the morning and washing the tahoe later. The vette will only be dusted and sprayed with detailer because, of course, it stays washed and waxed.
Oh absolutely...sometimes I get a lil embarrassed when I park at work and start inspecting the front for bugs...then wipe. BUT, I don't care...that's how I roll...
guilty and happy took me yrs. to get this first vette but it was my wife who told me to keep a bottle of water and micro towel in the trunk she cant stand the bird poop on her lexus and knew I would go nuts with any thing stuck on my toy,one up for the wife.
Oh good....I'm not the only one with OCD when it comes to my GS....I did run it in the big rain this week and it did not melt or flip off the highway....its good to face your fears....
