Default National Corvette Museum will Fill the Sinkhole

It's apparently too costly to leave the sinkhole as an exhibit. Also, only three of the eight Vettes will be restored. The others suffered too much damage but their "remains will continue to be displayed."

News story here. You know, everybody loves a Vette ...

I will be glad when it is covered up. It is good that is has been an attraction and attendance has been up. Once Labor Day is over fill it up and move on.

As predicted. The novelty of the sinkhole has worn off.

Agree and beyond that think how many cars were taken out of that area.
Probably half the cars being viewed were removed.

Fixing the sinkhole is a hoax.

but it is a shame that they will only rebuild three of the cars.

I got to see the sinkhole firsthand, and the pile of car rubble that came out of the hole.

I can see why only 3 of the cars are being rebuilt, the ones that weren't damaged too badly. The others were beyond rebuild, and are best left as is.

I'm glad to see that once the NCM bash got finished, that they have decided to fill in the sinkhole and make that dome reusable once again to showcase corvettes.
