Default LS3 Engine Caps

I can't find the thread, but I remember seeing a listing for LS3 Engine (dress up) Caps that screw on and are not attached with double back tape. I bought a set of the caps that half of them attach with double back tape and it wasn't a week later that I saw an ad on here from one of the vendors saying they had the real deal engine dress up caps that screw on like they should instead of attaching with tape.

Can someone tell me where or which vendor sells the engine caps that screw on and won't fall off if the tape lets go? My cap on my brake reservoir was ready to fall off in the engine compartment after I tried to clean it just from wiping the build up off. I had to get some more double back tape to re-attach it and I thought why not end this and buy a set that screws on like they should in the first place!

Thanks in advance.

Look for Nakid Parts on Google. I have their black chrome etched caps. They are bonded over OEM caps and are very strong. No problems in 7 years.

I have the ones attached with Velcro and they appear to be holding quite well. I know they came out of a place in Florida but cant recall the outfit. They were laser cut and look great.

I had a plenum cover with Velcro. Heat from headers melted glue on Velcro. Had to take it off. Just saying.

Default Better Caps

One of the Forum Vendors listed a set of accessory dress up caps that actually screwed on instead of tape or Velcro about a week after I bought my set that used tape. Their price was less than I paid and I was sick that I hadn't waited another week or two to order the caps so I could have bought the better designed caps. I can't remember which vender it was nor can I find the thread.

Is this what you were looking for? I bought these a while ago and they look great and stay on just fine. Hope this helps.

Default I found the thread!

In case anyone else is interested in accessory caps I found the thread I was thinking about and the vendor who listed the caps. These caps screw on, but not like I thought, they screw on over the original caps.
