Replacing Front Leaf Spring Bushes
The rubber bushes on my front leaf spring need replacing and it appear that the only way to obtain Original Equipment replacements is to buy the entire leaf spring assembly, as the bushes are not available separately.
It seems that a simple solution would be to buy lowering bolts, but I don’t want to lower my car. Can anyone suggest an alternative please?

Lowering bolts can be adjusted for stock height (or even higher than stock!) if you want.
Be carefull of what bolts you buy, there have been stories of very short lives on some brands.
Maybe try the For Sale section for somebodys take off stock bolts?
Owning a Corvette in the UK is not without its problems and generally owners are true enthusiasts with a long history of Corvette ownership. Occasionally a problem will arise where we don't have the depth of expertise that you chaps have, hence my question.
Haljenson - thank you. That is exactly what I mean, but if lowering bolts is the only option whose should I use? Any suggestions please?
