Default My corvette C7 experience:

Hello Corvette Forum!
I just wanted to post my experience with the C7 Corvette. (I was at a car show last week and I was able to experience some cars)

And I was actually a little disappointed..
Firstly, it's a beautiful car- it really has a presence. (As most american muscle cars do) So I was quite excited to get in and enjoy the power of a V8.
I got into the car and it was evident that there was an alright amount of luxury kit in there.
It sounded great when I turned it on, but that was short-lived as the driving experience was really disappointing- not what I expected for such an expensive car. Apparently they cost a lot to run as well.
It also didn't feel refined. At all. I mean, when you pay this amount of money for a car like this, you expect some sort of love to be put into the building of the vehicle, but it felt like it had just been banged together very quickly. There really was no quality. It was quick, however.

But... that's about it really..
Yes, it's wonderful to go quick, but you'll be going quick in no comfort really. And for the money that it costs to buy this thing, I would (in a heartbeat) go ahead and buy something better. Perhaps European or maybe even a GT-R.

Countless other sports cars deliver far more ability for similar money. And I don't see why anyone would buy this car over other ones.

Perhaps it was the specific car I drove, but it seemed in good condition. Perhaps it's just the C7. But what do I know? I mean... I'm only a lowly car review.

I doubt this member will post again, but I would be curious to know what vehicle he/she currently drives. I would also be curious to know why this is posted in the C6 forum too.

Well it is a damn good thing for you the US Constitution does not require "everyone must have a C7 Corvette registered to them",
