Bought a new Optima Yellow top from Pep Boys. Had to b/c my battery died on me. When I got home I looked at the battery and the info on the battery is CA 775------------CCA620--------Rec-------100----------YEID 35------model # 0313397. looks a little smaller than OEM. I cannot find this battery online. I have searched the internet and Optima's site with no luck. Any idea if this battery is correct or OK for my 09? Thanks, Mike
I have a Yellow Top in my 2010 coupe. I will check it when I get home.
Thanks Funride and all the other posters. I called Optima and found out the model #s is anything Pep Boys wants Optima to put on them. Like buying mattresses. I do use a battery tender on all my cars and was surprised that I had battery issues after only 5 years, Ya I know that's about their lifespan but I had my OEM battery in my 2000 Vette for 12 years without a problem and only replaced it b/c I won a new one at a Corvette Dealer. My GTO's battery is nine years old and working fine. I might be having some drain problem and when I called the dealer they told me it would take them two weeks to check the car b/c of all the recalls. After a little bs talk I told them fine just have a rental ready b/c on my GMPP extended I get a car if the work takes more than 2 hours. They said if it was only a battery problem they would have to charge me for the rental but did not have time to even install a new battery. I tried to give them the battery business so the hell with them. I told them I would buy a new battery elsewhere and if it didn't do the trick than whatever was wrong had to be covered by the extended because the car is bone stock. Usually my dealer takes great car of me but I guess the recalls just hit the fan.
