It's called engine knock and usually means you're either not running good gas or the engine tune is out of whack for the fuel you are using, usually from too much timing.

I don't think its engine knock, it sounds like its coming from the back of the car, I've recently had my wheel bearings replaced and shifter linkage cable.. I don't know what to think.

David,
Sorry that your 'Vette has an acceleration rattle. I understand the displeasure when dealing with a matter like this. Although you're seeking opinions from others, I'd be happy to communicate your concerns with the Customer Experience Managers (CEM) at your GM dealer of choice. Please know that you're welcome to message us privately if you would like to discuss this further, or if you simply want this matter documented.
David, why don't you post the year, mileage, transmission type (A6 or M6) and any other pertinent information you think could be helpful to diagnosing the problem.
If the car is higher mileage, it could be the torque tube bearings. Without knowing more particulars, it's a shot in the dark. These guys are pretty good at guessing the right thing when they have more information.

If you have the NPP exhaust, it could be the solenoids which switch the exhaust opening at 3500 rpms.
Is this at WOT or just brisker than the rest of everyday traffic? Is there a particular RPM range where it's most noticeable? Did this start all of a sudden or has it been there for a while and getting worse? Can you describe the noise intensity, pitch/tone, and frequency in relation to another well known common noise?
It's helps to give every possible bit of information initially, rather than in bits and pieces.
