Crossover pipe
2006 std 6 speed. I had the tank out. (Right side tank) New sending unit in. Tank back in place. I am having difficulty getting the clamp ring seated onto the tank. The crossover pipe is seated to where the expanded part of the pipe is flush against the tank. When I took the pipe off I could not see how far in the pipe was. It feels like all internal hoses line up. Can someone tell me how far the crossover pipe goes into the tank?

I had It aligned correctly! I had left the left tank sagging so that when I removed the crossover pipe it had some room to move. To put the pipe all the way back in I had to raise the left tank back to the proper position. The pipe then went right on in. No cussing but a lot of praying! I might not have gotten my answer from the forum but hopefully I can help someone else. Have a great day!
