bought a carbon fiber rear diffuser from C7 Carbon.it was listed as a blem and on sale for $399 shipped, instead of $649 plus shipping.i said that was a good price seeing that if thier was a noticeable blem most of it is under the car.i received it and looked it over real good because i am fussy.if their was a blem on it i could not find it.i installed it and let me tell you it is a real pain in the drain.very hard to get at the screws on inside of the fender.you will see what i mean if you do it yourself.got some pics, but it is hard to see because it is a rainy cloudy day.the reflections you see in the diffuser are not scratches, but the carpet reflecting back.very happy with the part and the price.
will get more pics when i can pull it out.
took thes today.it was cloudy as usual.hard to see on a black car.

Reason: new pics
I heard they can be a PITA to install, but the finished product does look good. I am about to pull the trigger on the extended ZR1 style real spoiler.
Thanks for the post.
the spoiler did not. I had to sand down a lot of material to get the third brake light even close to fitting, and it would not fit properly when flush with the rear line of the rear bumper, you had to make the thing overhang about a quarter inch in order to make the rest of it come down enough to fit. I had my professional bodywork friend take a look at it and that was the only way we can make it fit. They also didn't include the hardware for the install, and its been almost two weeks and they still haven't sent it. Not impressed. Went and got my own.

Thanks, maybe I need to rethink my purchase or at least do some more research.
ultimately I am happy with it, it is a really good looking piece, and I am the only one that will ever really notice the over-hang. it was just a PITA to get it done properly and I would expect someone to be really on top of sending out replacement hardware if they screwed up and forgot to include it. I mean, I had my car all disassembled and holes drilled in my car just waiting for their hardware.. which still hasn't shown up lol.

big pain to install.i had instructions but not really good.
tip
make sure you get the 7mm screws that hold the mudflap on.
took me a hour to remove the two top bracket bolts.had everting dicconnected and did not know about them.the bolts on top of the mufflers and the npp valves are in the way for a scocket and swivel.used a wench to turn them 1/4 turn at a time and they are long.the mudflaps are on with 2 way tape plus the bolt on the bottom.when trying to get then off cracked a thin locater tab on the flap.superglue fixed it.here are instructions for a diffrerent part but the dissembly is the same.

I bought a BLEM ZR1 extended real spoiler, and it did not fit..at all. One of the bolts in the center was shorter than the other, so short that it did not clear the hole on the trunk. The right side wouldn't sit flush whatsoever no matter how hard it was pushed down. I ultimately returned it and am still waiting for my replacement. I hope this one is much much better. I don't want to have to sand anything to get it to fit.
The first time I put a rear diffuser on I was ready to smash the whole thing. After doing several it takes me about 60 minutes now. There is a trick to aligning the tabs and the access to the 10mm screws on the sides can be challenging. I prefer to pull the muffler cans which will give you great access to everything.
Diffuser is bad ***. Looks good. I am also looking into the zr1 extended from c7carbon, but looks like it's a bad fit.
Mine fits great. The 3rd brake light could use a little bit of work, but I just ran a nut or two down the studs then slipped the lamp down and bolted it into place. It IS about an 1/8 inch out on the top, but no one would ever notice and if I really cared I could have easily made it work. It was getting dark and starting to rain so I just called it good. At the end of the day my car is a driver and not a show piece.

I am very happy with all of the items I received. I bought: Front splitter, zr1 extended wing, diffuser and halo. So far I have only installed the splitter and wing.
Also, I dealt with C7 over email a ton, and they are really awesome folks. All said and done for all of the parts I really dont think I could go wrong. In the end I will probably blast the front splitter on a road course or autox. The other items are really nice and I feel even though they are blems they are 100% acceptable.
