I have an 08 JSB. I love the look of 4 big exhaust tips with no gaps. I am thinking of doing it in black. Any ideas where I can find tips like that?

 

Probably have to change mufflers.

I used Rustoleum Satin BBQ black on my Corsa tips. Clean with brake fluid then scuff up with Emory cloth.

 

I am hoping I can find just tips as I just put QTP electric cutouts on it.I saw a car for sale on a website that had exactly what I want and it said they were STS tips. The car had a lot of STS mods so it is not STS as in cadillac

 

I am not sure if stock mufflers can just have the tips changed. Not much room there.

 

You are going to have to buy new ones. Here is a pic of my old stock exhausts and my new Corsa Extreme with SS tips.

 

Yes that is close to the look I want, real aggressive. Beautiful car,I love that color. I want them even closer than that, no gaps at all. Like a C7. I wish I could find a picture. I know somebody makes them because I have seen cars with the exact look.

Akrapovic setup....for Z06

 

thanks for the tip tip lol.I checked on the akropovic site and they do offer some carbon fibre tips for Z06 and Zr1 models. The car in the picture I posted is advertised as a standard C6 with a wide body rear. sts exaust and tips. I cannot find these sts tips on the net. After looking closer at my car I think one of the earlier replies was correct about having to get new mufflers.

 

I don't think you will be getting the Akras carbon fiber tips, they are around $1200.00, I just put a Lo Jack on mine lol...

 

$1,200 for exhaust tips? Must give a huge bump in HP

 

You'd have to change the mufflers,the tips are welded on to the mufflers.
