The arm rest on the driver side of my 08 has developed an inch long rip. I tried vinyl adhesive to close it but it didn't work. I just don't want the rip to get any longer. It's right where I rest my elbow. Any ideas?

Get the padded arm rest cover all major vendors sell them, easy to install and looks and feels better than stock.

I don't think 08 came with padded armrest. Could be wrong but I thought it was in 2011 or thereabouts.

Put a small round hole at both ends of the rip, (drill bit would work). That will prevent further tearing. Then get a quality padded arm rest to put over it. I got a great pair several years ago at Carlisle from a forum vendor from Long Island, NY (can not remember name) who specialized in high quality interior and carbon fiber parts. Not cheap, but they look factory stock with matching stitching and are twice as comfortable.
