Warren Mi relocation

Granddaughter and her husband moving there as he is a mechanical engineer and going to work for GM. Know not C6 but best area to live advice for a recent poor college grad appreciated. Know there are good and not good places to live. Recommendations on areas to look appreciated.

Relocation

20 to 30 minute drive would get nice places like Rochester, Oakland Twp., Troy and St Clair shores just to name a few.

Don't despair, lots of nice areas around S.E. Michigan. Sterling Heights, Shelby Township, Utica, Royal Oak, this list could go on and on. Tech Center is between Mound and Van **** from 12 to 13 mile road so you have many options for travel to and from. The guy that bought my C5 thin spokes commutes from Brighton (about 40-50 miles) and does not mind (except after a snow day). Like everything else in life there is good and bad. But, in this situation, the good greatly outnumbers tha bad.
