As far as I'm concerned, I don't get pissed off about the prints. I was merely pointing out the fact that most women leave prints behind and that it's somewhat comical. Yes I know it's just a car and it only takes a minute to wipe up with a dash of detail spray and a microfiber towel. I just thought it was funny that women do this and I knew most on the forum would have a story relating to this.

Yep, it's also a well-known fact that men never leave prints.
I did like billyboy47's answer. You gentlemen should hold open the DS door while I get in.
I don't so much mind the prints. It's a tiny inconvenience. The slamming of the doors, however, has always annoyed me. I don't think it's intentional, the doors are so long and fairly heavy that even a light nudge can send them slamming hard due to acquired momentum during the swing.
My GF leaves fingerprints as well, but not worth bringing it up, cause if I do then she wont leave fingerprints on me. And my 3 vettes definitely wont keep me warm at night.

Untrue, this simply depends on your Carbon Monoxide tolerance.
I don't care if my wife leaves fingerprints on the car. It is hers too and she helps clean it. I make every effort with any of our cars to open her door to let her out and open it for her to get in. After 30 years of marriage she is still my sweetheart and I respect her more than any car.
Another thing is the trunk... When we go shopping and get back home she takes the groceries out of the back closes the hatch and fingerprints all over. I tell her I will get it she says just stay in the car and pull in when I am done.
bad training from the start huh? Does she go stand by the front door and whimper when she wants to go outside? Sounds like you treat her more like a pet than a wife. I dig my vette too but you do know its a car right? Smudges are a big deal to you guys? Wow! Crazy
Aaaaand, you've never been "trained" to leave the toilet seat down right?... just sayin.
if you were true gentlemen you would open and close the door for your wife or girlfriend. easy solve, right?
As often as I can get out and open the door before she gets out I do. But there are some times she's in a bigger hurry than I am, but I don't notice the finger smudges on the Arctic White.
I tried to show my wife how to close her door using the chrome bar that is part of the latching mechanism on the inside of the door edge. However there is one "Little Lady" in my life that can put fingerprints on the Vette wherever she wants. All she has to says is "Paw Paw'. LOL In fact, she has already claimed the C6 as her's as she did the previous C5 vert. When she gets through looking at her car, I get the Chadwick's and micro-fiber towels out and wipe off the fingerprints. She has to tell her car bye every time she leaves when she comes over. She will be three this Saturday.
