Default Clock Settings
When changing the clock from daylight to standard time, I noticed it has AM and PM settings. None of my other cars have this. Is there something on the car that would need to know if it were AM or PM?

That may be because there is a 24 hour clock option also. Only thing I can think of.

The AM PM thing is meaningless. The only time you'll see it is when you're changing the clock. It's probably because Corvette is just as OCD as many of us are.
