I bought a low mileage 2007 A6 Velocity Yellow vert a few weeks ago. I had to take the car back to the dealer a few days after I bought it for a few minor repairs that they did promptly at no cost. The car has the QX3 Chrome Wheel option. I could not find the wheel lock key in the car any where. I mentioned it to the service advisor and he looked at my wheels and said they didn't have wheel locks on them.
I had 2001 A4 vert with the Chrome Wheel option and the wheels had wheel locks on all 4 wheels. My question, does the QX3 Chrome Wheel option on the 2007 model come with wheel locks?

I am pretty sure they did not put wheel locks on any C6 Vettes.
I know they did not come on mine.
I got the polished aluminum option wheels, no locks were offered for any of the wheel options.
I bought my own on the Web from Summit. Remember to note the wheel lock code, so if you lose the key you can get another quickly from the manufacturer.

Most come with stickers you can put in the glovebox.
They didn't come on mine but the dealer gave me a set. And they probably wouldn't stop a determined criminal but they are better than nothing considering the cost of a new wheel.
when I bought my 05 coupe it had wheel locks. the way I fund out I took the car to the dealer to have work done on it they called me to get the key which I did not have because the previous owner failed to supply it with the car. needless to say the locks had to be cut off at a cost of $400. bottom line if u have stock wheels theres really no need for locks, theres no market for stolen stock corvette wheels.

A better way to do it is to get a spare today.
I have the GM (McGard) locks on ours, with three keys: two are hidden in the car, one laying in my shop. Takes a lot of tension out of life.

GM did not put wheel locks on any C6. Dealers will put them on some cars hoping you will lose the key and they can get a bunch of money for the few seconds work it takes to remove a lock with no key. https://www.google.com/shopping/prod...d=0CIoCEKYrMAk

HaHa! Is that what they told you? Did they show you the cut off locks when you picked it up?

I think you may be wrong there, depending what wheels you have I am sure there is a healthy market for thief's selling stolen wheels.
Check out what the cost from Gm is on factory, Z06 and ZR1 wheels,
