However - Mine did not come with an adhesion promoter.....although I had some for my 3M tape that I've used in the past. I didn't want to use the promoter because that stuff will ruin the finish on just about anything it touches.

I installed the very same ones on my '99, '06, '12 coupe. They looked awesome, like yours do, easy job.
I'm not putting them on my '12 GS, leaving the stock black look.
