Default HVAC problems

I have a question. I have a 2012 C6, 24000 plus miles. My HVAC controls aren't working properly. The Auto, recirc, AC on/off buttons work. The fan speed, air direction, front defrost and rear defrost buttons do not. The temperature adjust ***** work. The only way I can get cool air out of my air vents is to turn recirc off and crack the window. All of the fuses are good. Anyone else experience this and any suggestions for a fix?

I had a similar problem with my 05, I pulled both HVAC fuses with the car running, let it set a minute, reinstalled, everything works as it should. It's been bout a month since mine acted up, now no problems.

Hopefully, you still have some of the B2B warranty left. If you are already past the expiration date it would still be a good idea to see if they would repair it under the warranty. They can ask GM to cover it and the worst GM can say is NO.

I have the remainder of the factory warranty still in place. Also have the 60,000 mile extended warranty. If pulling the fuses as mentioned above doesn't work, then its off to the dealership. Thanks for your response.

Took it to the dealer for service and diagnostics. Turns out the AC Control Head is stuck and needs replacing. Without the warranty its $678 parts and labor. Thankfully my extended warranty covers it. Thanks for the help, and if anyone else experiences this, here's a heads up for what "might be" the issue!
