I want to remove the above switch. I get it about 40% out and it stops and scared as hell to force it. Any suggestions? Thanks ahead.
Edit:
The answer was to pull harder and it will come out. The even harder part was getting the switch out of the bezel. After a long fight of persistent prying it came out and did break the original housing. Oh well.
The good news is it all goes back together easily and looks great so it is worth the headache.
Thanks for reading.
When I changed mine out I took the door handle off and punched it out from underneath. No damage that way. But I had to take the door panel off, anyway as I was changing the door lock bezel also.

It was a little difficult to get the bezel to pop out, but as far as the switches, they were no problem. I took my time and a small straight slot screw driver to get the little latches to release.

Can you explain how u popped the window switch bezel out. I tried carefully prying it out from the front side and heard a spring like sound. It seems to be stuck on the door panel side and m afraid to pull any harder at this point.
Thx. Jon
I have 2007 Corvette and the drivers side window switch will lower the passenger window but will not raise it. I thinks its the switch so I am trying to remove it from the drivers side but cannot get it out, is there a video to show how to do this> I try prying on it but cannot get it to come out

Hi Dave. Just saw your post. I have the same issue with the driver side switch not raising the passenger window back up. I was able to replace the driver side switch with a new one but still have the same issue. I was wondering what happened with your situation. Thanks george
Typically, its a connector pin issue either due to fretting, or needs cleaning at the pins. These connectors are found in the driver door 10 pin connector and or in the passenger door 5 pin connector. The grounds connection should also be checked if the connectors are not the issue.

Thanks that is very helpful. I have taken the entire switch apart and cleaned the circuit board. What method would you suggest for cleaning the pins? I was thinking to put some dielectric grease in after cleaning as well.
