Default 5 Month storage question

I had my ZO6 in storage in my garage for 5 months and just got home. I had it on the battery tender and everything was fine when I started it and drove it this weekend. I just went out for another drive this morning and left the car outside for a few minutes to get something from the garage...when I noticed a small (I thought greenish) liquid on the garage floor. I do not think it was oil. Now after my morning drive, I looked on the street and I dont see any liquid on the street from the car other then water condisation from air conditioning....I just brought the car back in the garage and will look in a few hours but any thoughts?

I would probably just keep driving it and checking it for leaks. Hopefully its not a water pump.

Look underneath at the radiator and hoses for wetness. Tighten hose clamps if needed.

Green liquid is antifreeze. Keep watching for a leak and keep an eye on the water temperature.

Near 200, if everything is stock on your Z06. In the colder times, maybe right at 195 degrees, that is what the factory thermostat is controlling at.

Unless the factory anitfreeze was changed, Chevy's dexcool is redish in color.

Definitely not green unless someone bought the old style coolant by mistake. http://autos.aol.com/article/coolant-color/

I would agree to just keep an eye on it for a while. If it really is coolant then you may have bigger issues than just a failed water pump.

Strange but no more leaking even after I ran it hard yesterday. Could it have leaked just while sitting there for 5 months....seems strange?

I think I will take it to the dealer and have them check the underside of the car...I have no way of crawling underneath it

Given GM uses red coolant, greenish oil to me says AC compressor oil. How's your AC working? You may have a small AC leak, and your r134 leaked out with some of the compressor oil.

I always thought DEX-COOL was orange.

And Zerex G-05 is clear or red/pink.

Don't put "green" AF into these newer cars.
