You sure you want built-in Nav? One salesman I spoke with said that was a hot option a few years back, but now most people weren't interested; said they'd just use their phones...cheaper, always updated. With a windshield or dash mount, that's a more heads-up viewing position, too...safer, IMO.
If you buy a used OEM nav, beaware you will have to take it to a stealership to have them program it to your VIN. Anti-theft system. The OEM units are "clunky" and were designed like 12 years ago so their technology is obsolete.
A better choice is to get an aftermarket Double DIN unit. Kenwood used to be the best because they have Garmin but not since JVC bought Kenwood they are crap. Don't buy Kenwood. I am looking at the Pioneer AVIC 8000 NEX. Just be aware that with any aftermarket head unit, you will NOT be able to get nav info on the HUD.

Built in Navigation is a total waste of money IMO, PITA to update and quickly outdated. Who doesn't use their phones anyway?
There's a guy on here who sells that stuff at very good prices!! I forgot the name but search it.There was just a thread on something he's selling the other day.FORUM VENDOR,not just some guy. Found it..it's DOUBLE D MODS...LINK..
When I bought my 2012 1LT, I loved everything about it except that it was missing Nav. I thought about installing navigation, but decided to try out a Garmin nüvi 3597LMTHD which I've had for the past year. It lives stuck on the windshield in the farthest, lowest left hand corner, and I absolutely love it. I'll never care whether or not a car comes with nav again.

I use my cell phone's GPS most of the time, but occasionally I have to rely on the built-in or dedicated GPS. One reason is that it continues to work when you're in an area with spotty cell phone coverage.
The flip side of this discussion is my factory nav has never failed to get me where I'm going. I really like seeing the direction in the HUD. Cant get that with aftermarket. Once you enter a destination a few times and learn how to use it its really pretty simple.

Dennis at Double D is great. I installed a Kenwood in my 2011 base and purchased all the necessary cableing from him, also was great help in making sure steering wheel controls worked. Think Garmin based GPS is great and Kenwood works without a hitch. Great customer service from Dennis.
Are you looking to install FACTORY nav or aftermarket? There's pros and cons to both approaches.
If you want to go from non-nav to factory nav, as I did, it can be done but is a little more involved than just plugging in a head unit. But still very doable and I'm happy with my result. For factory nav installation, everything you'll need to know is right here: http://www.kawal.net/USB%20Nav.htm

Directions in the HUD are great IMO.
Even my trade in 2008 Lexus IS250 was clunky and hard to get used to at first.
Just wished they used Garmin's approach in there easy user interface.
