Default Headlight Protection

Sometimes things seem too good to be true. Is this one of them. Inexpensive, easily removable (static, not glue). Has anyone used them? Thoughts?

Static cling are a pain to get to lay flat with no bubbles, etc. I put a set of Xpel head light protection film on my headlights and fogs, it looks and fits great. I actually have them on every vehicle I own due to the cost of new headlights nowadays. The kit was under $50. All it take is a spray bottle with 50/50 water alcohol mix and a blow drier.

Amazon sells kit btw..

Forgot to mention....it also protects from weather, oxidation and the dreaded yellowing look.

I added to my Xpel nearly complete front end protection last summer with the addition of the headlights being covered. It looks great (invisible). I just hope it works as advertised.

I installed the covers sold by Weathertech-the floormat people. Due to the compound curves you really need to pay very close attention how to start stretching and heating the material.

In my case the installation was reasonably easy and looks perfect. They can only be detected by VERY close examination.
