I am having a very hard time finding a good wheel setup I like in 20/19 setup. Mainly because I like a deep rim and with the needed offset the base 6 makes it hard. What do you all recommend? Maybe some pics as well?
you can't get a lot of dish or a lot of concave on the base unfortunately.
I ordered some forgestar cf5's in 19x9 20x11 myself - semi concave will have to do. had to get them to clear z06 brakes too - I should have gotten a GS

Pics???? I'm about to pull the trigger on some CF5's for my base, but haven't been able to find a picture anywhere with them! What size tire are you running on the rear?

yes please... Would love to see it. Did you upgrade to Z brake package?
I wasn't able to find a base c6 with nice aggressive cf5's either - I could only find them on z06's, so I'm just hoping mine turns out the way I want it to. They are on order as of a couple of weeks ago, it will likely take a good chunk of time for them to fulfill and create/ship them out, and for me to get tires mounted and balanced etc, but I'll definitely share pics when it's ready.
Yeah, I bought a used set of z06 calipers/rotors/pads, that I will be installing at the same time. the calipers are already powdercoated a nice candy red color
tire size for my set up will be 255/35/19 front and 305/30/20 rear. both are about .2 to .3" taller than oem.
Anybody else have some good concave c6 wheel suggestions...? Ive went as far as pricing widebody end but my vette just broke 60k and thats a pretty decent investment.
the rear widebody can be done fairly affordable but the front is expensive. may as well trade in to a GS / z06 at that point imo
our offsets are so conservative and are brakes are large, with the base, you really can't get 'good concave', semi concave is the best you'll get. what kind of budget are you looking at for wheels? we don't have a ton of options.

honestly, no budget limit on wheels Id like to stay under 5k but again with that many miles I thought about just dropping the car an inch or so and staying with my gumby setup.
I'd look into ... (no particular order)
Forgestar CF5
Forgestar F14
HRE FF01
Weld RTS
less favorable to me but options
tsw nurburgring / interlagos
cray brickyard / hawk
none will really have that deep concave or deep dish look, but they can have a little.
Thank you for all of your help. You by chance know the best value in a wide body rear conversion. Id do it if I could find the parts painted and ready to go.
if you did the rear conversion you could have some deep concave on the rear and some big ol rear tires, that would be cool. IIRC, Gene Culley is a great source to get the entire package for what you'd need. it would run under 2 grand, but it would not be painted. I would not advise going with a pre painted option. color codes are not spot on. you really need a talented local painter to match your color as best as possible, and blend if needed. prepainted options are hit and miss, it could be a total eye sore if it's slightly off. I'd expect another 600-1500$ in body/paint work ... could be a 3-3.5k project unfortunately. gets awfully close to that "ehhh just trade in for a GS" territory to me.
I know you said you like deep dish rims, but I went back and forth about wheels for my MRM coupe.. Ended up with TSW Nurburgrings and I couldn't be happier... Really nice, light, sharp looking wheels and I get lots of compliments. Check 'em out.
