First Hellcat totaled
Just read where the first Hellcat off the line was totaled by the new owner within an hour of buying it. Apparently, he couldn't handle 700+ hp.

Well not C6 related, but there are a lot of people out there cannot handle the 430 of the LS3 or for that matter the 400 of the LS2, so I am not surprised.

There's nothing in the linked article that says this was the first one off the line.
As previously indicated, it's not C6-related.
I'm sure the folks in Other Cars would like to hear about it.

I would need the fingers of 50 hands to count all the posts that weren't necessarily C6 related.

I seem to remember a number of years ago one of our members crashed his C6 driving it off the dealer's lot.

It was not the first car off the line, it was just the first hellcat to be sold in CO.

Having had a 658 RWHP Supercharged SRT Challenger...they are a beast to control, the torque steer is unreal.
I can really understand how it can get out of control very quickly. Getting out of the throttle quickly will throw you sideways.

You beat me to it. I can't imagine how bad that battle cruiser handles whenever deviating from a straight line and when applying all that power.

I'll venture a guess that there are quite a few of Corvette owners that could F-up with 707 hp, I'm in that group, it would be pretty easy actually

Lighten up Francis!
It WAS the first Hellcat sold in Colorado. Even if it's not C6 related, still interesting.

I have already figured out how easily I could F-up with "only" 436 hp, so I try to be appropriately careful. Still, none of us should be so arrogant as to think it couldn't happen to any of us, before we call names. I'm sure the poor guy is totally sick over it.
