C6 2005 H Pipe question
Okay so I have a corse x pipe with DMH cutouts on my 2005 c6 corvette. I'm trying to get the original h pipe back. Everywhere I read it's a 2.5" diameter.... Well I found someone to buy it from who had a 2010 ls3 corvette and when he took a tape measure across the top from the cats it was 3".... Why is this? Will it fit my 2005 ls2 corvette?

The measurement shown is taken on the outside edge of a flared end, not the diameter of the pipe itself. It probably is 2.5" but won't work anyway.
The 2010 midpipe has different ending points than your 2005. The '05 axleback won't bolt to a '10 mid pipe (and vice versa).
