My right rear sensor has been coming on more and more and staying on longer and longer so I decided to replace it. The tire pressure is fine. Shopping around I found an OEM sensor at Amazon for just $44! Just thought I'd pass it on.

OEM or aftermarket? New or used?

New aftermarket might not be a bargain, do you know the battery life expected?

Used sensor doesn't make sense unless it's from a newer car. Battery life is what kills a sensor. How do you know how old the used sensor is?

I mentioned that it's an OEM sensor. It's new with a battery life of ten years. Can't imagine anyone buying a used sensor.

However, you left out very important info:
Since there are different sensors for different model years...

If you paid 44.00 for the newer small sensor like the ones in the Camaro, those can be had for 10.00 for an OEM.
If it is the older large sensor like a 2007-2005, then 44.00 is great since those are 110.00 OEM.

I ordered new sensers for one of my parents vehicles typing in exact year and model. Unfortunately made the mistake of not reading the fine print on compatible vehicles thinking I already had the info entered. After backtracking I found it was wasted money.

The part arrived yesterday. Now, would a Firestone dealer be able to swap it? Does it need resetting or?

Any tire dealer can do the install and yes all 4 wheels must be reprogrammed in the proper sequence.
