If you can find a little high ground to back up to, with your long ramps I don't see where you would have any issues.

Thank you I just didn't know if the exhaust would drag when the car went over the dove tail

Take a block with you to put under the jack and raise the front while lowering the rear will help a lot with clearance.

You will be just fine. I trailered my track car that was lowered 1.5" on an 18FT dovetail with 5' ramps. Take a block to place under front jack to get that extra bit if drop in the rear.

I think you will be fine loading it. I would take several short pieces of 2x6 and some blocks just in case. I've never tied down a corvette before, that would be my concern. I would get the hooks that would fit into the frame slots to take along.

I've used the lower control arms as strap points with axle straps for years. He does need to make sure he crosses all straps.

Definitely secure that puppy as saplumr noted in his post above; get four straps to secure your vette completely. Two on the front and two on the back. On the rear use the half shafts and ratchet them tightly.

Default ramps

Also, set your e brake on the truck prior to loading the car.

Make sure and take along half a dozen or so 2x6"s about 2-3 feet long. You can place them behind your ramps on the ground so your tires drive up on them first which will give the spoiler clearance to get up the ramp. You can also place them on the deck so your tires drive over them effectively giving you more ground clearance if the center of the car wants to drag on the break over portion of the dove tail.

Better to have them and not need em, cheap insurance.

The next thing to be careful with once it's on the trailer is opening your door to get out. It most likely wont clear the fender!
