Universal Home Remote Programming Problem
Just traded my 08 coupe for a 10 GS. I have 2 fixed code door openers, a 9 pin and a 12 pin. The 9 pin programmed just fine. The problem is with the 12 pin. After getting it in the programming mode and entering the lefts and rights for the dip switch settings then pressing and releasing all 3 buttons at the same time, when i select the button i want to use for the door, the door activates immediately instead of needing a time period to program. The problem is it only activates once in one direction. The light on the button which should be blinking while its programming is on steady. Had no trouble with the 08 on either door. Tried numerous times. Cleared out everything and tried several more times with the same result each time. Just curious if anyone else might have encountered a similar problem. And no, I'm not going back to my 08 to solve the problem. Thanks.
