reverse safe mode?
I was told that if you store your 2011 Corvette in reverse that it doesn't draw the battery down. Any truth to this?
TIA

I think this only applied for the 05 MY, I don't leave my 13 in reverse and have never had a problem. Nice midyear in your avatar !

Exactly. Having said that, I always leave my '11 in reverse...just because.

Yeah I think that was only 05-06. My 09 Z doesn't drain the battery sitting in neutral for a few weeks.

Just the 05 that you had to use the reverse gear.

That is true. Also you can leave it any other gear and it doesn't draw the battery down.

Thank you very much! It's being painted now. It's my forever project. I have also have a 99 FRC that is retired but can't get myself to sell it because I've had it so long, done so much to it. The 11 is my DD.
Thanks for the 411 on reverse!

Only reason I said that was because I looked at an 06 Z06 and the dealer claimed it had to be parked in Reverse or the battery would die. Regardless. I k ew it was the early years.
