Default Wheel size question

Hello everybody,

I have a question regarding wheel fitment and tire size. I currently have a 07 Z51 with stock wheels. I have sourced some Z06 replica wheels from OE wheels. They are 18x9.5 front and 19x10 rear. Will these fit my 07 Z51?

My concern is them hitting the brake calipers.

Addtionally, I have also sourced some rear tires that are Michelin Pilot sport PS2 tires and are 285/35ZR19 (99Y). Will these tires fit properly with the Z06 replica wheels?

Thank you for input!

if you are running the factory brake setup, the rims and tires will work. you didnt list the backspacing for the rims you are looking at. but assuming it is factory spacing, you will be fine.

Hi, thanks for your reply! I'm not sure about the backspacing of the rims, But this is the information provided on the website:

FRONT WHEEL SIZE: 18x9.5
FRONT WHEEL OFFSET: 56
REAR WHEEL SIZE: 19x10
REAR WHEEL OFFSET: 65
BOLT PATTERN: 5-120.65
HUB SIZE: 70.3

Hopefully the sizes match up ok, or I'll have to keep shopping around. Thanks

Stock rim offsets
Front: 18 x 8.5 56MM offset
Rear: 19 x 10 79MM offset

So it seems the front wheel offset matches but the rear has a 14 MM difference in offset. So the rear wheels would not properly seat with the Michelin 285/35Z919 tires? Thanks

the tires will work, but I believe the rims will be tucked in further under the car with that offset.

Always best to have a reputable dealer spec your tire/wheel combo if you're deviating from stock, or else stick to something known to be tried and true. The stock fronts are 18 x 8.5, so your gaining inch evenly divided into 1/2 inch on either side of the hub surface, the rears are the stock 10" width, but as Russ says, they'll be tucked in by 14 mm. Who knows if that causes clearance issues, but you need to know. I think it will look wrong even if the clearance is OK. Your fronts will stick out an extra half inch, and rears be tucked 14mm.

Thanks for all of the help, I'm close to moving forward with a set of wheels for my 07 Z51. I have one last question...can I run 18 x 9.5 front wheels with stock brake components? Would they rub or hit anything? Thanks!

I'm assuming that maybe the wheels in question might have a deep dish design and that compensates for the 14mm inset. I don't know, just thinking out loud.

Anyone have a set of these wheels on their car? I would like to see what they look like on a C6.

I have these wheels from O.E. Same size and offsets. The rears stick out MORE then stock, not less. If your car is lowered, you may have issues.

Will you post a few other pictures of the wheels?

How long have you had them? Are you pleased with the way they have performed?

Got them last spring, needed new tires, so I thought might as well get new wheels while I was at it. Absolutely no regrets...and you can't beat the price!
