Default C6 Shift M6 shift *****

What is the difference between early and late M6 shift *****? How do I tell which I have? I'm trying to sell it and I want to make sure I list it correctly.

The background pattern on the top varies but otherwise I think they are all the same. The screw that holds it on was different in different years...some Pozidriv (phillips) and some Torx.

The picture is just like the one in my '07 Vert.

Your **** fits 05 to 07, and the top of the boot just pulls up around the ring to hold it on the boot.

In 08 and upwards, the top of the boot got a silver snap ring, and the bottom of the **** has the slots so the ring can lock into it.

Look at the bottom section where the set screw goes into the ****, and on these for the 08 upwards, you can see the boot locking ring slots, for the later boots.
