Double D Mods does it again!!!!! :)
Hello, finally decided to replace my 2005 radio head unit, looked for feedback in the forum and all fingers pointed to Dennis at Double D Mods. Called him in, service was SUPER!!!! He understood my needs and a week after, below are the results.
Everything came plug and play!!!

It's a Kenwood DDX392, works beautiful!!!!
With the Double D Mods pre-wired package, it was super easy to install, plug and play. I was afraid at first, the total work took me less than 3 hours, It was my first time taking the center console out, after knowing how easy it is to take out, next time it will not take me more than 1 hour.

Hey Dennis, any thoughts on the new Kenwood DNN 992 unit? I sold my C5 that you did the bezel for and now have a 2009 Convertible. This spring the head unit is coming out and also appears I need a new amp. I have a helicopter sound coming from my passenger door speaker. From what I have read up on, sounds like the amp is the culprit.

I have them instock as well for 5-6 weeks now and have already sold 73 of them
To me this is the best unit hands down to buy
The sound on the speaker is prob the amp yes or possibly coming from the head unit.
So you can roll the dice with a head unit change and see if it works or we can talk about upgrades to them as well.
Either way just give me a call sometime.
