Does Borla ATAK delete cats?

Trying to decide on an exhaust for my C6. I like the Borla and Corsa exhaust.

Does the ATAK Borla delete the cats? I see it comes with an X pipe. I still need to pass emissions. Thanks.

No, it does not. It's is a true catback system (at least on the Z06). X pipe, which is after the cats, then mufflers and tips. It has a great tone!

Neither system deletes cats they are before X pipe. Go Borla if you like a lot of drone or Corsa if you want great sound and no drone.

if you have a later year C6, it does remove two of the four cats. emissions will be fine, it doesn't throw a code or anything.

the above post about borla droning is inaccurate.
