Default Torn between two wheels

I'm itching for new wheels and my original decision was to go with ZR1 R1 wheels in black. I like how they fill out the wheel wells a little and will let me go to Z06 calipers someday if I ever wanted to. But then I saw the new C7 Z06 wheels. Man those are sweet. For some reason they make them aftermarket first in 18's but not 19's or 20's. Do I wait for the ZO6's to possibly come out in sizes that will fit the C6 or go with the ZR1's hand have new wheels for the spring? I do have the ZR1 rear wing and I know there is some people who don't like mixing wheels form generations.

the new z06 wheels are very aggressive looking(way more than the zr1 wheels) and if I could find them in black chrome for a base model I would be all in.....even tho I know they would be a cleaning nightmare....

I thought the same as you did. LOVED the ZR1 wheels.

(IMHO, the wheels look better in a brighter finish, definitely not chrome though)

But the C7Z06 wheels in black are absolutely KILLER.

The concave center really sets it off nicely.

Now if only OEM sets weren't so expensive$$$$....

Man, I’m in the same boat your are but in chrome or black chrome. I wanted black chrome in 19x10 and 20x12 for my 427 vette, but then I saw the 2015 Z06 wheels and that was it for me. I’ve called around and it seems they are going to make them in various sizes but it may be 3-6 months. I’m going to wait, I love the look and to me its worth the wait. Good luck with your decision

Black mesh wheels look great on our cars, especially the widebodys.

I just received my black forgestars F14's. Can't wait to mount them. Just waiting for all the snow to melt already.
