Default GS rough ride

i sold my 2007 c6 and bought a 2011 GS. I love the look but the ride is terrible. Very rough. Is that normal for a Grand Sport?

Good ride considering what the GS was designed for.

NOT a GS, but my 08 z51 has a very comfortable ride on the highway. On a bumpy road it can feel a bit rough if a lot of suspension travel is required otherwise fine.

My 2 cents

Ha! You think that is rough?? Try putting on Bilstein B8's and JOC sway bars and report back.

Actually, I prefer the chassis setup for handling. It transmits what's happening so much better. I didn't buy a performance car for it's cushy ride.

Suspension is stiffer. Track is wider so mine seems to be affected by ruts in the road more. Overall I'm fine with it.

I own a 2011 GS vert. Mine rode a little rough and was very noisy with the top down, especially on concrete. I replaced the GY runflats with Michelin non RFs and it now drives like a dream. Dramatic difference.

I have a 12 GS and I don't find it that rough. I came from an 07 Base car to the GS. The GS has MSRC which helps.

I have a 13 GS vert and my wife finds it very smooth. I have the magnetic suspension set for Tour mode.

It depends on the road surface. Also, its a great handling Vette. So, actually I like the stiffer ride.

MSRC was optional on the 2011 GS.

I don't find the ride in my 13 GS rough and I don't have the MSRC. May depend to some extent on whether you have the stock GY run flats. I found the ride improved when I switched over to the Bridgestone Potenzas Pole Position RF's.

I do have the MSRC on my CTS Vsport and it works great.

For a performance type car with tires a mile wide the ride isn't bad at all, in fact my Camry SE rides about the same. Any low profile car and especially tires, will ride like that, unless I'm mistaken, please advise if I am, any body??

I would know if my GS rode hard because "the boss" would have told me.
