Default Headers question

Mite be a dumb question but is there a difference between a 2005-2008 headers vs a 2009 header? All the sites I see market them as 2 different products but is there really a difference where I can not use a set of ls2 long tubes on my 2009?? Sorry if something like this is already on the site I couldn't find anything about it. Thanks

Never noticed a difference, but 2008 and newer C6s have the LS3 vs. the LS2.

That might be why there is a delineation.

That would be my guess.

I've seen 2005 - 2007 as a separate part number, but not 2005 - 2008

2005 - 2007 vettes use the LS2 engine and it has different heads than the 2008 - 2013 LS3 engine.

I don't know if the bolt patterns are the same, but I'm sure the port layout is different.

Unless the specific header manufacturer that you are planning to buy told you it would work, I would not try it.
