Default SHIFT INDICATOR not working?

Just what the title shows Shift indicator not working. Had trouble with the shifter not coming out of park. Fixed it by wiring lever back. After putting it all back together realized the shift indicator is not moving?
Any ideas or pictures on how to fix it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The problem is that the indicator is not connected to the shifter shaft coupling.
It's an easy fix, but you have to remove the console, then get the shifter boot out of the way.
Then you can carefully loosen the silver part that normally covers the locking (pawl) tab. (pulls straight up and out)Once this is loosened, you can re-install the red indicator in the round slot on shifter shaft coupling, then re-install the silver part, drop down the shifter boot, and re-install the shifter number cap.
re-install the console and your good to go.

THANKS LV2TOUR, it's fixed. Wasn't bad since I had it a part last week end. Must have slid out of it's slot when I had it apart. Just had to get the boot, plastic cover off was something extra I had to do.

Took a little under an hour to take apart and a little less to put it back together. Being very careful not to crack or break anything.

One happy camper!

Thanks AGAIN

The locking tab shown in the picture is what I drill a very small hole in and put a wire in and tied back so the car will always come out of park. It always stuck in park at the worst possible moments. Not no more!
