After an absolute horror of a winter here in the Northeast, today I uncovered her, pumped up the tires and, went for a nice drive! It was amazing, for the first time since the New Year started,my jet stream blue GS was out and about. Two words of caution for anyone else taking the first ride of the season, Pot holes and The Crazies. Watch for pot holes. They will tear the damn car apart. And as for the crazies, well, they are still out there texting, applying makeup and doing everything else but paying attention. So, in closing, great weather is on the way! Enjoy your Corvette! And don't forget to wave!

I'm holding out for a bit of pothole maintenance in my neck of the woods. Local streets look like the surface of the moon.

Thankfully, all the snow and salt is gone here on Long Island. Smooth roads should return once our County Executive gets his head out of his ***

My wife just hit a dandy in town. I wrote the city administrator and was able to file a claim. It bulged the front tire and flat spotted the rim. Had to replace all four tires (as a set) and get a new rim....plus alignment. They're going to cover it all.

Had my beast out of the garage for the first time since Christmas yesterday. The potholes are out of control, but I've been making mental maps of all the bad spots in my area.. Of course as you power out of the local comfort zone, you have to be on high alert. Man, they are monstrous this year. It may take all spring for any reasonable amount of repairs to be completed around here. I just can't wait that long. 12 weeks was more than I can handle... enjoy the ride!!

I had it out one day last week and Monday this week. Now the weather is going to turn ugly for a few days.

Had my GS out a bit on sunday. Pulled into the garage just a few hours before more snow came down.

Snow flurries here on Friday. I won't even take the cover off until mid April. It's been a long winter up here.
