I have an 09 base vette. Sometimes when I use the paddle shifters the RPMs will jump under rapid acceleration. Usually in the lower gears. I tried switching the traction control on and off, but that had no effect. Is anyone familiar with this condition?
Does it feel like the trans is slipping or are you spinning your wheels?
Typically the A6 won't upshift when using the paddles if the wheels are spinning/losing traction and the revs will continue to rise until you hit the rev limiter.

The summer tires on the Vette do not perform very well in cold weather and this combined with them being old or maybe worn, could be contributing to your over-revving issue.
I'm assuming my tires are slipping, but I could be wrong. Any ideas as to what else it could be? I'm debating whether or not I should take it to Chevy to have it looked at
