I have an 09 LS3 automatic. The car has about 30k miles on it. When I have the car in S mode while using the paddles shifters every now and then there is a rough downshift from 2 into 1st. I've never felt it in the other gears. Is this something normal or should I be worried?
Rough like it doesn't rev-match, or Rough like it slams into first, or something else?
We have a similar 2009, Z51 so it has the performance axle ratio. A paddle downshift into first can be a little "rough" because of the huge engine braking we get in first, but the shift itself seems ok.
It dosent slam into first, just feels bumpy as if I'm driving on a rough road surface. The car has magnetic ride control. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it
