Default Headlight bouncing

Anyone else have there headlights bounce like they are loose. Seems like when I hit bumps the passenger low beam seems to flutter. Can they be tightened?

Oh Joy! I had the wheels off today while painting the calipers and decided to take a peek. Sure enough looks like the whole assembly is moving inside the lens. I managed to shim them and they seem solid now. Is this something that would normally be covered with a ESP?

That's a good question. I'd guess not as long as the llights themselves are functioning. The shaking would not be covered under "customer is annoyed by headlamps," which, honestly, is what it will come down to.

Unfortunately I agree BUT a call into them saying I think my headlight is broke and see what they do certainly would not hurt.

Sounds like reading the link RL posted....If the light is moving inside the lens that one or more of the 3 clips are broken. Sounds like they get brittle from the heat and break...

I would also think bouncing around can not be good for the bulb its self.

Hmmmmm, Guess maybe will have to ask. Although for now it seems as though the the shim did the trick keeping it from bouncing around. I guess we will see for how long. Maybe until another clip breaks.
