OK I'm listening also. But having said that, also add with "no repercussions or trade-offs" if that's possible ??
May we also include not spending the national budget in the replies

IMHO:

$=tune
$=CAI and exhaust (headers, low flow cats, etc) TOGETHER;
$=tune;
$$=cam;
$=tune;
$$$=blower;
$=tune.

Three things, though:
You can get results with exhaust and no CAI but not the reverse;
plan your build so the blower you add is compatible with the cam;
with the cam comes a $$ torque converter in automatics.

While you do not say what your budget is I would go with this plan in order:

Tune $500?
Headers installed & tuned $2,300?
cam installed & tuned $2,200 +?
Blower $7K

If you do it in steps it gets expensive. Plan your mods to avoid re tuning after each mod.

That being said, if you have $7K just do the blower and forget the rest.

I'll be doing long tubes with a tune by summer Hopefully.

That's good for about 35-40 rwhp.

Low flow cats?? Don't you mean high flow cats? What would be the purpose of low flow cats?

I am having a A&A kit installed on my 2012 Grand sport in two weeks. No other mods and I have a A6. I am requesting a conservative tune and am expecting around 525 rwhp. I have done the heads, cam, headers etc. on my previous car and have well over $7K in those mods with not as good street manners. I love that car but I'm getting older LOL

Here is my heads cam car

There are a lot of blowers for C6's...A&A, Procharger, E-Force to name a few. Rwhp gains would be in the 30-40% range.

Sometimes I even stick a couple potatoes up the exhaust for some added back pressure.

Easiest thing is probably headers that add real power and better sound to the exhaust too. Without draining the bank account or doing major work. CAI's and all that are pretty much more fluff then anything else.

So a set of long tube headers would add approx. what kind of real world power to the LS3???
What size primary tubes??
Tune necessary for adding headers??
What brand has the best results??
Also you suggest the high flow cats as an added source?? Can you keep the NNP exhaust? I like that option a lot and wont get rid of that feature
Thanks for the info

You gotta do your research man.

There are too many variables for the questions you're asking.

In short. 1 3/4 headers for an otherwise stock car (with no future heavy modifications, go 1 7/8 if you forsee more mods).

Yes tune is necessary, IMHO. Adding headers with no tune and you're giving up a substantial amount of power. Plus with the tune, you can tune out your o2 sensors for emissions so you don't get the check engine light.

Brand doesn't really matter. Some people like kooks, some people like ARH, some people like LG. I'll be installing ARH 1 7/8's with a catless xpipe. But i'm keeping my stock mufflers so it's not terribly loud.

here is my soon to be upgrade. 1- vararam intake. 2- headers with a cow tune. i also, will not give up my npp exhaust. even if that gives me another 25-30 rwhp i,ll be most satisfied.

LT headers with hi-flow cats and a good tune is your best bang for the buck. They will work fine with your NPP

Don't waste your money on a CAI.

Nitrous plate on the air inlet
Simple, cheap (all things relative) and easily removable
