Mecum Auction

Mecum Auction just sold a 1997 Corvette Grand Sport Speed boat. Never new there was a Corvette Speed Boat.

They were a Malibu Inboard Competition Ski Boat, they they put an LT1 in. I believe some had Callaway Motor

Our company was contracted by Malibu Boats to build the engines for these, which were a 383 ci Callaway SuperNatural engine. We built 125 examples. That was the only GS themed boat.

I would have thought it would sell for more money.

It depends more on the money in the room vs. the value of the items at some auctions. I think that boat sold for more in the past, but if seller and buyer agree, then it is what it is...
