Do all C6 Corvettes have the storage compartment in back like my 10 GS?
Wet sump engine C6 corvettes have two compartments in rear. Dry sump engine C6 corvettes, like ZR1, Z06 and 6 speed manual GS Coupes, have one.....battery is stored in the other.

Good to know! The storage compartments are actually pretty useful, nice to not have stuff sliding around the back.
Thanks guys. I'm trying to get the folks at Console Vault to make something for the C6. I hate not having any secure place to put my radar detector or Dashcam.

Correct.
Except that GS manuals COUPES have the battery located in the right rear compartment.

As a general rule, thieves only break into cars to steal what they can see though the windows or to steal the whole car. Just put the temptation out of sight.

The Vettebin and Partition from Vettenutts has a couple of handy, lockable compartments that are easily accessable.

Putting it out of sight may give you comfort. Speaking for myself, I don't want the scumbags to get away with anything that belongs to me. I want my stuff locked away.

Maybe I missed your point. Did you want something more secure within your car, such as vetteright posted, so you could leave your car with the windows down/doors open like at a car show?
For everyday use, I just put the windows up and let the car auto-lock. If thieves get past the first part of a locked car, the second part certainly won't stop them. From a thief's point of view, a lock means there are valuables on the other side.

A vault will take quite a bit of time to get into, most theives want to get in an out as quickly as possible. Also, from a theifs point of view, a nice car probably has something nice in it as well. I've been a victim of theft. It's not a good feeling, therefore I prefer layered security. YMMV.
